Skiing in Gulmarg, Kashmir

Get introduced to the skis and begin your training by learning essential techniques such as how to walk, side step, and snow plough. Progress to mastering snow plough turns, uphill swings, basic traverse swings, and other fundamental skills that will form the foundation of your skiing journey.

Take the exam to become certified as a basic skier. After successfully completing the certification, take the cable car up to Phase I and enjoy skiing on the 4 km long track, putting your newly acquired skills to the test.

After breakfast, drive down to Dal Lake in Srinagar (2 hours). Check into a hotel beside the picturesque Dal Lake. Enjoy a relaxing ride in a shikara (boat) around the lake, taking in the serene beauty of the surroundings. The rest of the day is free for shopping and exploring the local markets at your leisure.

Fly back home with a heart full of memories and a brand-new skill under your belt. Reflect on the exhilarating ski runs, the serene boat ride on Dal Lake, and the vibrant local culture you experienced. • Trousers (2 nos) make sure the trousers has a big leg part because the ski boots are big and it must cover the shoe
• Socks thick ( a few) socks should be either all the way to your knees or only till your ankle. Ones that reach up to your shin won't work

• Helmet (you can buy a skateboarding, mountaineering or cycling helmet)
• Warm cap that covers your ears,
