Itinerary

Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you'll be warmly greeted by your guide at the airport. A comfortable drive of approximately 30-45 minutes will take you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to relax and unwind. At 6 pm, gather in the hotel lobby for a delightful evening. We'll head to a cultural dinner where you'll savor an array of authentic Nepali cuisines while enjoying traditional songs and dances. After this enchanting experience, we'll return to the hotel for a restful night.

After an early breakfast, catch the morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. As the plane ascends, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Langtang and Annapurna ranges. Upon landing in Pokhara, embark on a drive straight to Ghandruk. The journey, particularly the last segment, involves off-road travel and takes around three hours. Upon arrival in Ghandruk, check into a charming tea house and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Enjoy a free day in Ghandruk to explore the village at your own pace. Roam through the picturesque streets, taking in the traditional architecture and stunning mountain views. Visit the Old Gurung Museum to learn about the local heritage and culture, and stop by the Meshrom Baraha Temple to experience a piece of the village's spiritual life.

After breakfast, begin your trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa, a journey of 6-7 hours. The trail ascends gradually to Kimrong Danda, a small village perched on a ridge with panoramic mountain views. From there, descend sharply through oak and rhododendron forests to cross Kimrong Khola at the valley floor. Continue through lower Kimrong village before a 500m climb to Chhomrong, a large settlement with an ACAP Checkpost and authentic Italian coffee. From Chhomrong, descend 400m through the village to the stream, and then climb 200m up steep stone steps to reach Lower Sinuwa. If the weather is clear, you'll enjoy stunning views of snow-capped mountains from Sinuwa. Spend the night at a teahouse in Sinuwa, resting after a day of diverse terrain.

Starting from Lower Sinuwa, you'll climb to Upper Sinuwa which is basically the same village, offering brilliant views of the higher valley. The trail begins with a level stretch, winding through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests. The scenery is truly fantastic; lush green forest, many waterfalls, huge boulders, gigantic trees covered in moss, many birds, small wooden bridges across the rivers, etc. It is like walking through an enchanted forest. As you continue, you'll reach Kuldigar before descending to Bamboo at the valley floor. The bamboo forests become denser as you gradually ascend towards Deurali, passing through villages like Dovan (noting a giant waterfall nearby) and Himalaya. Just before reaching Deurali, you'll encounter the Hinku caves alongside the trail and traverse areas with avalanched snow and debris. The climb from Bamboo to Deurali is significant climbing  ~900m. Deurali itself is a small village nestled at the base of Macchapuchhre, also known as Fishtail Mountain, renowned for its perfectly shaped peak.

This will be the most interesting day and the day we all have been looking forward to. Throughout the day, we'll trek close to the majestic Annapurna glaciers. As we make our way, Machhapuchhre Base Camp offers us a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. However, our journey continues northwest as we head toward the ultimate destination: Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Upon reaching ABC, you'll be greeted with a breathtaking 360-degree view that includes Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft), Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhre. Today's trek is nothing short of spectacular. You'll find yourself in the company of some of the Himalayas' most impressive peaks, including the entire Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, Paungda Danda, and numerous other towering summits ranging from 6000 to 8000 meters in elevation. The sheer beauty and grandeur of these snow-capped giants will make this an unforgettable day, etched in your memory forever. We'll spend the night at the Base Camp, surrounded by the awe-inspiring peaks that define the Annapurna Sanctuary.

Wake up early to witness the awe-inspiring Himalayan sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Watching the golden rays illuminate the snow-capped peaks is a truly breathtaking experience. Spend some time soaking in this mesmerizing view before heading for breakfast. After breakfast, begin your return trek from ABC. Retrace the descending trails through Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Deurali until you finally arrive at Bamboo.

After our long journey from ABC to Bamboo the previous day, Jhinu Danda is our destination for today. From Bamboo we head down the same way we went up. Continuing our journey, we descend to the bridge across the Chhomrong River, passing through Sinuwa. After crossing the bridge, we enter the beautiful Gurung village of Chhomrong not after a long climb up to reach Chhomrong. From there, a steep descent takes us to Jhinu Danda. Jhinu Danda is famous for its soothing natural hot springs, located 15-20 minutes downhill from the village. A short descent to the riverbed reveals three pools brimming with naturally heated water, the perfect balm for your aching legs after six days of hard trekking.

Today's hike will be a short one, taking just 1 hour to travel from Jhinu Danda to Mathu. From Mathu, board an awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour drive down to Pokhara. Upon arrival, check into a hotel at Lakeside and rest. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore at your leisure.

Wake up at your leisure and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. After breakfast, board an awaiting vehicle for a visit to the Mountain Museum, where you can learn about the history and culture of the Himalayas. From the museum, drive to Phumdikot to see Shiva's Statue, and then continue to the Peace Pagoda, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The rest of the day is free for you to explore and relax at your own pace.

Take the early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, drop your luggage at the hotel and then proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, to enjoy its stunning views and serene atmosphere. From the stupa, drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can explore its rich history, architecture, and the Kumari House, home to the only living goddess. Afterward, walk back to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure. At 7 pm, drive to a restaurant for a farewell dinner to celebrate the end of your journey.

After breakfast, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure until departure. When it's time, board an awaiting vehicle to bid farewell to Nepal, carrying with you memories of a lifetime and the heartfelt experiences of this incredible journey. As you head back home, hold onto the moments that touched your soul and the beauty that will forever remain in your heart.
